Jan.-Feb. 2011: Professor Romano Quoted and Published

Ursinus Professor of Philosophy and Humanities Carlin Romano, and his recent book, Philadelphia Noir,  were one focus of a recent Philadelphia Weekly cover story on David Goodis and the tradition of crime writing in the City of Brotherly Love. Professor Romano was also quoted by the New York Times in its recent obituary of the philosopher of literature and A&L Daily  founder Denis Dutton. His own most recent published essays as Critic-at-Large of The Chronicle of Higher Education are “Us vs. Them: Good News From the Ancients” (1/23/11) and “The Scholar as Futurologist” (2/27/11).
