Professor and chair of environmental studies Rich Wallace published a manuscript with frequent coauthor Susan Clark of Yale University.
The paper, “Learning Interdisciplinary Problem Solving and Leadership Skills: A Comparison of Designs” is a chapter in a new book from Sage Publications titled Environmental Leadership, edited By Deborah Gallagher. Dr. Wallace and Dr. Clark also are leading a workshop together at the University of Saskatchewan on October 18, titled “Interdisciplinary Scholarship for Complex Problems.”
OneHealth is a global initiative involving researchers and universities and organizations around the world and endorsed by many health organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.s. Department of Agriculture. OneHealth is a program to achieve “the collaborative efforts of multiple disciplines working together locally, nationally and globally to attain optimal health for people, animals and the environment.”
