Recent Grads Accepted Into Competitive Program

Congratulations to two Ursinus alumnae who were recently accepted into a prestigious teaching program in France.

Margaux Thieme-Burdette 2010 (Major in French, Minor in German) was accepted in the competitive Teaching Assistant Program In France (TAPIF) sponsored by the French Ministry of Education. She will be teaching English to French students near Lyon for the year 2012-2013. Margaux is currently finishing up an internship for a non-governmental organization, Peace Alliance in Washington, D.C. which deals with violence against children and women.

Lauren Goldstein 2012, a double major in French and Media and Communications Studies, was also accepted into the same competitive program. Lauren will be teaching English to French students near Tours, for the year 2012-2013.
