English Faculty Discusses Legacy of Anna Douglass

Villanova University sponsors a talk Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. in the Villanova Room, Connelly Center, Radnor-St. David’s featuring Ursinus College faculty M. Nzadi Keita, Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing and Poet in Residence. “Exploring the Lives of Anna Douglass Through History and Poetry” promises to be a provocative discussion about the legacy of Frederick Douglass’ first wife. The conversation will be led by Leigh Fought, Department of History, Le Moyne University, and Keita. It is co-sponsored by the Gender & Women’s Studies and the Department of Africana Studies at Villanova.
