Gabrielle Principe, associate professor and chair of the Psychology Department, has published an article in the Journal of Experimental Child Psychology titled “Children’s natural conversations following exposure to a rumor: Linkages to later false reports.” Mollie Cherson 20009, Julie DiPuppo 2010 and Erica Schindewolf 2012 are co-authors. This research was supported by a grant from the National Institutes of Health.
In addition, Principe gave a talk at the annual meeting of the Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association on Oct. 5. The title of her talk was “Formal Education: A Foreign Element in the Brain’s Natural Ecology.”
