Ursinus College String Ensemble to Perform on Oct. 27

The Ursinus College String Ensemble will present a concert on Saturday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Bomberger Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.

Conducted by Garrett Hope, Visiting Assistant Professor of Music, the String Ensemble will perform works by Bartok, Corelli, Dvořák and others. Ursinus Instructor of Guitar James Kenney will perform Vivaldi’s Concerto in D Major, RV 93. The Homecoming Weekend concert will also include Corelli’s Christmas Concerto Op. 6, No. 8 and the string quartet performing the first movement from Dvořák’s String Quartet No. 12, Op. 96 (American).
