Education Student Spotlight: Brianna Kramer 2013

In the summer of 2011, Brianna participated in a 5 week, intensive TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Course in Quito, Ecuador. Through this participation, Brianna became certified in TESOL, and is now able to teach English as a second language in any foreign country.

Brianna KramerBrianna remains a true advocate for under-privileged children today. For instance, Brianna is an active member of Concerned Parents in Hazleton. This program is dedicated to providing pathways for success through educational access for students and families in the Hazleton area for whom language is a barrier. Brianna is also an active member of The Hazleton Integration Project. This program creates opportunities for economically disadvantaged children to participate in a variety of low-cost educational, cultural, and athletic activities. Brianna has recently gotten involved in Reach Out and Read. This program focuses on helping America’s youngest children to succeed in school by promoting literacy.
