Senior Peace and Social Justice Studies major Nick Silcox recently presented his thesis research at the first annual conference of Students for Critical Animal Studies. The meeting was held February 1 – 3 at Vassar College. Nick’s thesis examines how the work of farm animal sanctuaries challenges the categories we use to think about other animals. Nick also recently published a book review in the Journal for Critical Animal Studies.
