Choral Concert Has Instrumental Accompaniment

The Ursinus College Choir and Meistersingers will offer a musical program April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Bomberger Auditorium. John French, holder of the Heefner Chair of Music, will conduct.


The concert is free and open to the public. The program includes Son of God Mass by internationally known James Whitbourn for chorus, organ and soprano saxophone written in 2001. College Organist Alan Morrison will play the organ and faculty member Holly Hubbs will play saxophone. The singers are also presenting works by Philadelphia composer Kile Smith, a composer praised for his powerful compositions.
