The annual Student Exhibition at the Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College opens April 24, showcasing the work of art students in media including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installations, mixed media and photography. The exhibition runs through May 10.
The artist reception on April 24 is open to the public, from 3 to 5 p.m. Artists’ recognition awards will be announced in the Main Gallery and President Bobby Fong will introduce the new Director of the Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art, Charles Stainback.
Work by the following student artists will be included in the exhibition: Justin DeChillo, Noelle Goldcamp, Jacqueline Kimmel, Madeline Lesage, Magdalena Parks, Delicia Wharton, Rachael Frawley, Lea Marano, Mara Berzins, Rachel Blunt, Jenny Phillips, Erik Stumpo, Mary Altamuro, Emily Immel, Rachel Bonner, Kyle Peterson, Monica Reuman and Brenna Simon.
The Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College, known for its diverse collection and its innovative educational programming and outreach, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The Museum is closed Mondays and College holidays. The Museum is a member of the ARTZ/Artists for Alzheimer’s museum network and is accessible to visitors with disabilities. Admission is free. The Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums. Exhibitions and programs are funded in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
