Student First Member of BCMB Honor Society

Grace Soloff was elected as Ursinus’ first member of Chi Omega Lambda, the National Honor Society for the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). Grace, of Collegeville, Pa., was one of 16 students elected nationwide.

With Grace’s election Ursinus is able to form a local chapter of the honor society. More information is found at the ASBMB news site. More information can be found on the ASBMB home page.

Grace is graduating this May although she finished her Ursinus classwork in December. She is currently working at Glaxo, Smith, Kline. She will earn Distinguished Honors in BCMB for her work in the research lab of Dr. Julia Koeppe. The past summer she did research in a Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) program at Carnegie Mellon University. She has been accepted to a Ph.D. program in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program at Yale University.
