Writing Award for Art History Faculty Member

Deborah Barkun, Assistant Professor of Art History, is the recipient of the Society of Photographic Education’s 2014 Award for Excellence in Historical, Critical and Theoretical Writing.

Barkun’s award-winning paper was titled, “The Eye of the (Be)holder: Collaboration, Reciprocity, and Performance in AA Bronson’s Parting (Self)Portrait of General Idea.” She will deliver a presentation of her paper at SPE’s annual conference in March.
